System Components

Each Sonarguard project is custom engineered and mapped to provide you with exact transducer locations, equipment list and specifications. You will receive a transducer map, equipment list and specifications sheet with every project. SonarGuard is an ASTM alarm and carries the ASTM, AFNOR,CE and ETL labels.

Expansion Board

A weatherproof housing provides protection from the elements.

  • Advanced microprocessor technology.
  • Alarm activates when “sonar-net” is disrupted by a body entering the water.
  • Sounds alarm at Base Unit and at Remote Keypad.
  • Automatic reactivation after alarm.

Number will depend on pool size and shape. Securely fits into 1 ½” schedule 40 PVC and color matched to pool interior.

The molded transducer on 100 or 200 foot cable provides easy installation. Custom lengths are also available.

 

  • One or more transducers are permanently mounted inside the swimming pool 18” to 22” below the surface of the water.
  • The transducer consistently transmits sonar waves, which creates the “sonar-net” throughout the pool or spa.
  • The transducer monitors the water activity below the water’s surface.

Keypad:

Remote access to system utilizing a code to disarm or to view status.

Installs easily in a common double switch box and is weatherproof for outdoor installation.

 

  • Provides continuous display of system status.
  • System can be set to stand-by for a period of 30 minutes and up to 5 hours when using the pool
  • Access code required for use of stand-by buttons.

  • Emits alarm and alerts homeowner by loud buzzer and flashing LED’s. The system then allows for easy resetting of the unit.

Sirens:

Indoor and out door sirens to alert of entry into pool. Audio can be integrated with existing security or automation.

The Horn provides a distinct, audible sound alerting the caregiver to a possible emergency.

  • Minimum sound pressure of 85db @ 10 ft. radius.
  • Emits a continuous sound that cannot be ignored.
  • Unique “sonar” sound that will not be confused with a car or house alarm.
  • Weather proof and durable.

Sensors:

Allows system to sense pumps and features without creating alarms.
