Holiday Inn Conference Center, Columbus, Indiana

InterContinental Hotel Corporation’s Life Safety Standards required that we install a fence around the indoor swimming pool and whirlpool areas of our 253-room Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center. This requirement would have severely compromised the aesthetics and usability of the large interior space around the swimming pool.

While researching alternative solutions, we discovered the SonarGuard Pool Security System. RJE Technologies sold and installed the system for us. Their installation crew was professional and responsive to any issues that arose in the process.

The system is timer-operated and is active during times when the pool is closed. It functions exactly as represented and gives us an immediate audible alert behind the front offices when the pool is breached.

InterContinental confirmed that this system satisfies the life safety requirement of the franchise and waived the fence requirement. We are pleased with the functionality and performance of the new security system.
